Responsibilities
- Review complex commercial contracts and ensure accurate revenue recognition.
- Lead and develop a global technical accounting team.
- Build and maintain global revenue recognition policies and procedures.
- Evaluate new accounting pronouncements and determine their impact on revenue policies.
- Advise on revenue considerations for strategic initiatives.
- Research and document technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP.
- Partner with internal controls teams to optimize revenue-related controls.
- Deliver global revenue training and educational materials.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience performing complex revenue recognition analysis.
- Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP revenue recognition rules, including ASC 606.
- CPA certification or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience with revenue accounting across software, hardware, and multiple-element arrangements (preferred).
- Experience with SAP (preferred).
- Experience with Hyperion Financial Management (preferred).
