About the role
- Providing training and support for the Mako Robotics surgical system. Assisting medical professionals with technical and software aspects pre- and post-operation.
Responsibilities
- Training and support for physicians (m/f/d) and OR staff before and during surgeries on the handling and use of the Mako System in the Greater Munich area.
- Operating-room instruction for the clinical and technical leads on the Mako System and its installed applications (partial knee, total knee, and total hip arthroplasty).
- Explaining software workflows to prepare preoperative CT data for compatibility with the Mako system and supporting the surgeon (m/f/d) in preoperative planning.
- Creating previews/overviews of upcoming operations to be performed with the Mako System.
- Planning, organizing, and delivering training programs and presentations for users from the OR and radiology departments.
- Coordinating newly acquired customers (m/f/d) in collaboration with the endoprosthetics sales team.
- Sales support for product-specific questions at trade shows and congresses.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of initial professional experience within a medical environment (e.g., OTA specialist/surgical technologist, medical device applications specialist, clinical support, physiotherapy).
- Strong technical affinity and the ability to convey complex concepts quickly and clearly.
- Strong customer and service orientation.
- Resilient under pressure and able to remain calm in tense situations.
- Reliable organizational and planning skills and a high level of commitment.
- Valid Class B driving license and a high willingness to travel.
- Fluent German and very good English skills (Level C1), both written and spoken.
