Responsibilities
supervise the Housing & Dining Financial Customer Services Team
provide financial accounting and analysis for the university’s Housing and Dining System
prepare, reconcile, and analyze general ledger entries
extract data from the university accounting system and import data into Quickbooks
analyze compliance with fiscal policies and procedures
provide training to prevent further issues
prepare data analysis and summary reporting for decision-making purposes
develop, implement and maintain financial reporting systems
assist in developing and refining the operating budget
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
four (4) years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
at least one (1) year of supervisory experience
Experience with a desktop accounting system such as QuickBooks
Experienced in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Experience extracting data from general ledger accounting systems and providing analysis using tools such as Excel and/or Access.
