Responsibilities
- Your apprenticeship starts on 01.08.2026 at our Dortmund location.
- Your tasks include seamlessly connecting people, machines, and data by setting up extensive networks and integrating the latest technologies, e.g. SD-WAN.
- WAN connections: You will learn to configure router interfaces and connect company networks.
- Protocols: Extensive knowledge of protocols in the world of network technology (TCP/IP).
- IT security: Encrypting customer data in transit, for example to the data center.
- Troubleshooting: Learn methods for rapid diagnosis and problem resolution so customers are back online as quickly as possible.
Requirements
- A school leaving certificate with good grades in core subjects (Realschulabschluss, Fachhochschulreife or Abitur)
- Basic understanding of terms such as routers, switches, and IP addresses is an advantage
- You enjoy developing solutions to solve existing problems
- You enjoy working in a team and are open to and interested in intercultural collaboration
- Very good German language skills, spoken and written, for smooth communication, and good English skills
- Important note: A valid work permit for Germany is required for non-EU citizens.
