TGA Fachplaner specializing in HLSK for major building projects in Erfurt, Germany. This role entails dimensioning, planning, and collaboration with various engineering teams.
Responsibilities
In this position you will work as a Building Services (TGA) Planner specializing in HVAC & Plumbing (HLSK) within our STF Energy business unit and take responsibility for the design of various large-scale building services projects with an HLSK focus.
Projects include public buildings such as train stations, schools / daycare centers, residential buildings, office buildings, supermarkets and hotels.
You will independently perform various calculations for heating/cooling loads, duct networks, potable water, wastewater, stormwater, etc., to determine dimensions of pipes, air velocities and the sizing of components (valves), among other things.
You will independently produce floor plan drawings, schematics and sectional views.
For our building services planning we use digital twins — fully digital representations of buildings whose BIM models form the basis for our designs.
For calculations and drawing production across trades we use Mh-Software, AutoCAD and Revit.
We use OrcaAVA for preparing bill of quantities and for tasks such as cost tracking.
You will be in close contact with our electrical planners, project managers and your HLSK colleagues.
You will take part in weekly project and status meetings to, for example, jointly update the project board (MEP cockpit).
Requirements
You should have professional experience in building services (TGA), e.g. in HLSK design, technical systems planning, technical drafting, planning engineering or a similar role.
Ideally you have experience across the different trades (heating, ventilation, sanitary, air conditioning) or you have specialized in one of them.
You have completed an (engineering) degree (Bachelor, Master or Diploma) with a focus on building services / HVAC or a related field OR you are a state-certified technician or hold a master craftsman qualification in one of the HLSK trades.
Through previous roles or training you already have user-level experience with industry-specific CAD software (e.g. Revit or AutoCAD) and with tendering/quantity-surveying software (such as OrcaAVA or similar).
To ensure optimal communication between all parties, you need very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
