About the role

Responsibilities
- Build and operate AI agents in production.
- Design, implement and maintain agent based systems in Python using frameworks from the modern agents ecosystem.
- Create and maintain datasets that capture real world scenarios and edge cases.
- Develop backend services in Python and FastAPI, hosted on AWS.
- Contribute to internal libraries and patterns for building, evaluating and deploying agents.
- Partner with product managers, data scientists and forward deployed engineers.
- Deepen your understanding of LLM capabilities and limitations.
Requirements
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is essential as we operate in a remote environment requiring clear and effective communication.
- Strong engineering fundamentals with a passion for simplicity, precision and reliability.
- Curiosity about how to apply AI safely and effectively in real world products.
- Comfortable getting hands-on and truly understanding the data.
- Prior industry experience with Python backend development, or as a data scientist or ML engineer shipping models or LLM based features into production.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in software development with an emphasis on machine learning and natural language processing.
- Hands on experience with large language models using APIs like OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI or similar.
- Experience with at least one agent or orchestration framework, for example LangChain, ADK, Strands or equivalent custom tooling.
- Experience with databases and a major cloud provider (AWS preferred).
- Proficiency in RESTful API design and implementation.
