Responsibilities
- Conduct testing activities according to standards defined by the client;
- Plan and design tests throughout the project lifecycle;
- Create functional and automated test cases and scripts;
- Implement automated tests using programming languages approved by the client;
- Define expected results and manage test data;
- Execute tests, analyze failures and propose fixes;
- Ensure consistency and record test results in the test repository (LOG) as evidence.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, or a bachelor's degree with a postgraduate course in IT, or hold Brazilian Certification in Software Testing (CBTS), or be a Test Analyst certified by IBQTS (Brazilian Institute for Quality in Software Testing) or ISTQB (Certified Tester Foundation Level);
- Previous experience in application testing activities;
- Planning and execution of tests using Rational Quality Manager;
- Test automation using Rational Functional Tester or Rational Performance Tester or Rational Test Workbench or Selenium WebDriver or Appium or Cucumber or SpecFlow;
- Experience with test automation;
- Implementation and use of drivers, stubs, mocks;
- Experience in test data management;
- Knowledge of functional testing and/or ATDD approaches;
- Knowledge of Node.js and JavaScript;
- Knowledge of executing functional tests with Jenkins Pipeline;
- Experience with Cypress or Playwright (with JavaScript);
- Hold one of the following certifications: IBM Certified Solution Designer - Rational Functional Tester for Java; IBM Solution Designer - Rational Performance Tester V8 or higher; IBM Certified Specialist - Rational Quality Manager V4 or higher; IBM Certified Associate Developer - Rational Test Virtualization Server V8 or higher; IBM Certified Associate Developer - Rational Integration Tester V8 or higher; CBTS - Brazilian Certification in Software Testing; CTFL - Certified Tester Foundation Level; ATC - Analista de Teste Certificado; CP-MAT - Certified Professional – Master Agile Testing; CP-AAT - Certified Professional – Automation Agile Testing.
