About the role
- Software Testing Architect responsible for testing application activities and automated testing processes at Stefanini. Collaborating with clients to ensure high-quality software delivery with defined standards.
Responsibilities
- Conduct application testing activities in accordance with client-defined standards
- Plan the testing activities to be carried out throughout the software project lifecycle
- Design the tests to be executed, identifying and creating Test Cases and Test Scripts according to the type of testing to be performed and the software specifications
- Plan and implement automated tests using the main languages/tools approved by the client
- Define expected results for each test case and test script to allow comparison between expected results and results obtained from test execution
- Manage test data
- Execute the test cases and test scripts defined for the project
- Identify and analyze software failures and defects and determine which change requests are necessary to correct them
- Ensure consistency and preservation of captured test results in a test repository (LOG) for delivery to BNB as evidence of test execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT, or a bachelor's degree with postgraduate studies in IT, or hold the Brazilian Software Testing Certification (CBTS), or be a Test Analyst certified by IBQTS (Instituto Brasileiro de Qualidade em Testes de Software) or by ISTQB (Certified Tester Foundation Level)
- Previous experience with application testing activities
- Planning and execution of tests using Rational Quality Manager
- Test automation using Rational Functional Tester or Rational Performance Tester or Rational Test Workbench or Selenium WebDriver or Appium or Cucumber or SpecFlow
- Experience in test automation
- Implementation and use of drivers, stubs and mocks
- Experience in test data management
- Knowledge of functional testing and/or ATDD approaches
- Hold one of the following certifications: IBM Certified Solution Designer - Rational Functional Tester for Java; IBM Solution Designer - Rational Performance Tester V8 or higher; IBM Certified Specialist - Rational Quality Manager V4 or higher; IBM Certified Associate Developer - Rational Test Virtualization Server V8 or higher; IBM Certified Associate Developer - Rational Integration Tester V8 or higher; CBTS - Brazilian Software Testing Certification; CTFL - Certified Tester Foundation Level; ATC - Analista de Teste Certificado; CP-MAT - Certified Professional – Master Agile Testing; CP-AAT - Certified Professional – Automation Agile Testing.
