About the role
- Director of Capabilities leading supply chain continuous improvement initiatives for Stanley Black & Decker. Overseeing operational standards and methodologies across Planning, Customer Service, and Distribution locations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy a production system to drive standardization and consistency
- Design methodologies for measuring productivity of the ASC improvement activities
- Partner with stakeholders to ensure processes are designed and implemented for speed, agility, and employee experience
- Provide training to build capability across the stakeholder ecosystem
- Build and facilitate a community of engaged CI users across ASC
- Drive alignment with operations teams on methodologies for measuring productivity
- Drive best practice sharing across stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least 7 years of supply chain work experience
- Masters or MBA preferred
- Prior operational consulting experience preferred
- Experience in designing the methodology for measuring operational improvement programs
- Strong project management skills
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, global and domestic.
