About the role

  • Director of Capabilities leading supply chain continuous improvement initiatives for Stanley Black & Decker. Overseeing operational standards and methodologies across Planning, Customer Service, and Distribution locations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deploy a production system to drive standardization and consistency
  • Design methodologies for measuring productivity of the ASC improvement activities
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure processes are designed and implemented for speed, agility, and employee experience
  • Provide training to build capability across the stakeholder ecosystem
  • Build and facilitate a community of engaged CI users across ASC
  • Drive alignment with operations teams on methodologies for measuring productivity
  • Drive best practice sharing across stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least 7 years of supply chain work experience
  • Masters or MBA preferred
  • Prior operational consulting experience preferred
  • Experience in designing the methodology for measuring operational improvement programs
  • Strong project management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time, global and domestic.
