About the role
- IT Systems Engineer responsible for developing Microsoft Infrastructure and managing projects at SSW-Trading. Engaging actively in knowledge transfer and technological innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of the Microsoft infrastructure (Windows Server, M365, Endpoint Security)
- Evaluate new developments and assess their applicability
- Project responsibility as Epic Coordinator for infrastructure projects, ranging from colocation to system expansions
- Actively transfer knowledge within the team and support colleagues with expertise
- Contribute ideas for the continuous improvement of the tech landscape and IT philosophy
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience as a System Engineer or System Administrator
- Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems (on-prem AD, Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, Azure)
- Experience with virtualization, backup/restore, hardware and monitoring
- Basic networking knowledge is an advantage
- Passion for standardization and automation in patch and configuration management
- Familiarity with common agile development and IT operations processes
- Excellent German and English — written and spoken
