Responsibilities
Professional and disciplinary leadership of the staff of the Committees Secretariat in accordance with the Saarländischer Rundfunk leadership principles

Responsibility for the full range of tasks of the Committees Secretariat
Supporting and advising the chairs of the Broadcast Council and the Administrative Council on all committee matters, including preparing the chairs’ correspondence
Preparation and support of elections
Preparing position papers, including on legal and broadcasting policy matters
Substantive preparation of meetings of the Broadcast Council and the Administrative Council as well as their committees and the ARD Committee Representatives’ Conference
Coordinating, preparing and drafting briefing papers for the committees’ decision-making
Substantive and organizational preparation of committee workshops
Taking minutes of Administrative Council meetings and various committees of the Broadcast Council
Coordination of (program) complaints
Requirements
A completed university degree, preferably in law
Experience in public-service broadcasting and in working with committees or supervisory bodies is an advantage
Proven experience in staff management is desirable
Strong communication skills, including decisiveness, ability to accept criticism, conflict-resolution skills and diplomatic strength
Strong decision-making and judgment skills
Situational sensitivity and confident handling of differing interests
