About the role
- Automation Developer creating and executing automated testing solutions for Splitit's fintech platform. Collaborating with global teams to ensure code quality and performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Sanity, E2E, and Regression testing suites using C#.
- Run automated tests and perform deep-dive analysis of results to identify, document, and track software defects.
- Work with the DevOps and R&D teams to integrate automated tests into our CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).
- Partner with manual QA and Backend developers to translate functional requirements into robust automated test cases.
- Research and suggest new tools or methodologies to improve our automation coverage and execution speed.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of professional experience in Automation Development or Software Development.
- Solid foundation in C# and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to "break" things and find the root cause of complex issues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment.
- Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of SQL and working with databases (MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB) is a bonus.
- Familiarity with Docker or cloud environments (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
- Background or interest in the FinTech industry is nice to have.
