About the role

  • Compliance Engineering Intern supporting key projects and initiatives aligning with Southwire’s strategic goals. Conducting research and analyzing data alongside cross-functional teams for project success.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research, analyze data, and present findings to support engineering projects and process improvements.
  • Support data collection and analysis for root cause investigations, failure analysis, and compliance improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in populating data in an audit database.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other deliverables to communicate project progress and results.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams including maintenance, production, quality, and safety to drive project success.
  • Perform other engineering-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or similar programs.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organization, planning, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) or other relevant tools.
