About the role

  • IT Payments Support Analyst responsible for supporting payments processing environment and ensuring reliable payment operations at SouthState.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the daily operations, stability, and strategic enhancement of the organization’s payments processing environment.
  • Oversees administration, configuration, and optimization of Fiserv PEP+.
  • Monitors system health and troubleshoot issues across payment systems.
  • Ensures daily payment processing runs accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinates upgrades, patches, and enhancements to payment applications.
  • Collaborates with business units to support new payment products and process improvements.
  • Supports incident response and root-cause analysis for payment-related outages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Information Technology or related discipline.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in IT operations or payment systems administration, preferably in banking or financial services.
  • Certifications such as AAP (Accredited ACH Professional) or NCP (National Check Professional) Preferred.
