About the role

  • Staff Cybersecurity Analyst focusing on cloud security for Southern Glazer’s. Leading security assessments, managing incidents, and collaborating with teams to enhance security posture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead service, system, and infrastructure assessments of major cloud environments
  • Work with internal and external teams to develop cloud-specific security policies
  • Collaborate with developers to respond to escalated problems
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation and operating procedures
  • Monitor and mentor on cloud projects for security issues
  • Regularly review Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) findings
  • Utilize CSPM solution to monitor infrastructure-as-code frameworks
  • Collaborate with teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines
  • Implement and manage Web Application Firewall (WAF)
  • Lead security assessments, evaluations, and audits for compliance
  • Address and resolve cybersecurity incidents
  • Identify cyber threats and validate new threats
  • Research and document Cyber technology applicability
  • Provide guidance on security options and decisions
  • Develop and support report generation for stakeholders
  • Participate in Information Security projects and operations
  • Administer cybersecurity technologies and monitoring systems
  • Troubleshoot and evaluate risk management processes
  • Apply laws, regulations, policies, and ethics in daily practice
  • Participate in after-hours for emergencies
  • Employ strong creative and critical thinking skills

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field (e.g., Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, System Analysis, Business, etc.) or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in IT/network security/cybersecurity with cloud focus
  • Extensive experience in information risk concepts and principles
  • Proficiency in advanced cloud security tools, technologies (e.g. CSPM, WAF) and best practices
  • Expertise in network security protocols and practices
  • Strong understanding of cloud security controls, conceptual models, and frameworks
  • Solid knowledge of current and emerging technologies
  • Proficiency with security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO, etc.)
  • Experience in DevOps and Agile technology environments
  • Native-level proficiency/fluent in English
