About the role

  • Cybersecurity Analyst protecting sensitive client information and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Conducting security assessments and managing risk for Techneaux Technology Services.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks in clients' systems
  • Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and solutions tailored to clients' specific needs
  • Monitor network traffic and systems logs for signs of suspicious activity or security breaches
  • Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software
  • Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response efforts to mitigate impact and prevent future occurrences
  • Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity awareness and compliance
  • Oversee governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) activities, including developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and controls
  • Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance and develop remediation plans
  • Ensure clients' compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001)

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Proven experience working in cybersecurity or information security roles, preferably in a managed service provider (MSP) environment
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices
  • Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and encryption
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable
  • Proven experience in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) roles, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
