Responsibilities
Conduct security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and risks in clients' systems
Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies and solutions tailored to clients' specific needs
Monitor network traffic and systems logs for signs of suspicious activity or security breaches
Configure and manage security tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software
Investigate security incidents and coordinate incident response efforts to mitigate impact and prevent future occurrences
Stay updated on the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies to proactively address emerging risks
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to enhance cybersecurity awareness and compliance
Oversee governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) activities, including developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and controls
Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify areas of non-compliance and develop remediation plans
Ensure clients' compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) and industry standards (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001)
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proven experience working in cybersecurity or information security roles, preferably in a managed service provider (MSP) environment
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices
Proficiency in conducting security assessments, penetration testing, and risk analysis
Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection, and encryption
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure
Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable
Proven experience in governance, risk management, and compliance (GRC) roles, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
