About the role
- Designer at FARM Global adapting textile designs for various fashion items. Collaborating with the modeling team to ensure technical viability of designs.
Responsibilities
- Adapt prints for different fabric bases, sizes, and silhouettes.
- Make necessary adjustments to ensure correct placement on the garment.
- Work closely with the Patternmaking team to ensure accuracy in application and in finishes.
- Prepare final production files, ensuring appropriate technical specifications.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Print Designer.
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (especially Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Intermediate to advanced English.
- Ability to read technical documentation (patternmaking and print placement).
- Strong communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design; or
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design (Postgraduate in Print Design preferred); or
- Courses or postgraduate studies in Print Design / Textile Printing.
