About the role
- IS Mechanical Designer I designing mechanical systems, components, and assemblies for ENFRA's innovative energy solutions. Collaborating with project managers and engineers to deliver high-quality designs.
Responsibilities
- The IS Mechanical Designer I will design mechanical systems, components, or assemblies using engineering principles.
- Works closely with project managers, engineers and contractors to create unique high-level concepts and designs for all assigned projects.
- Works closely with the team to ensure the successful execution of goals of all assigned projects.
- Conducts field surveys to identify existing equipment types and system capabilities.
- Produces design documents including drawings, system flow diagrams and architecture, wiring diagrams, construction details, and equipment scheduling.
- Delivers concepts and designs according to strict project deadlines.
- Contributes to all areas of the creative process and department.
- Performs work under direct supervision.
- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
Requirements
- Associate degree in HVAC Technology, Building Systems Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
- 1-2 years' experience with building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or automatic temperature controls.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT
