About the role
- Process Engineer executing engineering studies and developing process understandings for Solvay’s Peroxides Business Unit. Contributing to continuous improvement approach in industrial operations.
Responsibilities
- Executing engineering studies to address various objectives such as process development for new materials, debottlenecking, quality, safety, and environmental impact reduction
- Interacting smoothly with all engineering disciplines, technical experts, R&I researchers of Peroxides GBU, and site representatives
- Performing modeling and simulation, defining process flow diagrams, sizing, specifying, and selecting equipment, and developing Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (PID)
- Interpreting data, maintaining, and developing the know-how related to H2O2 & eH2O2 Technologies
- Consolidating process design knowledge by developing guidelines or design tools
Requirements
- Relevant education degree or equivalent in Process Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Relevant work experience of minimum 10 years in process engineering, with knowledge of process engineering principles
- Scientific Rigor
- Knowledge of Process Engineering
- Strong technical expertise in process design and optimization
- Fluency in French and English
