About the role
- Senior DevOps Engineer designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Solace Cloud. Collaborating with teams on AWS and Kubernetes to enhance developer experiences.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain highly reliable CI/CD pipelines that support large-scale, cloud-native microservices
- Build and maintain developer environments (local, ephemeral, and cloud-based) that are fast, secure, and easy to use
- Define and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and Helm to manage cloud resources and Kubernetes workloads
- Partner with engineering teams to standardize deployment, testing, and release workflows
- Improve platform observability, security, and reliability across the SDLC
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying friction points in the developer experience and delivering practical solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience designing and operating CI/CD systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins or similar)
- Solid experience with Kubernetes, containerization, and orchestration (Docker, Helm)
- Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code, particularly Terraform
- Strong proficiency in at least one programming language such as Go, Python, or similar
- Experience working in AWS or other major cloud platforms
- Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycles, testing strategies, and release management
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence platform standards across teams
