About the role

• Software Engineer supporting innovative solutions using Python or Node.js in a global compliance software firm focused on digital transformation.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of solutions using Python or Node.js;
• Learn and apply cloud computing concepts with AWS (such as Lambda, S3, API Gateway);
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Automate tasks with RPA and collaborate with the team on system integrations via APIs;
• Participate in technical meetings and learn from clients and colleagues;
• Help test and deploy solutions with a focus on innovation;
• Write clean, well-documented code and maintain a focus on continuous learning.

Requirements

• Solid logical thinking applied to real-world problems using Python or Node.js, even if demonstrated through personal projects or coursework;
• Good understanding of REST APIs and system integrations;
• Curiosity about cloud computing (especially AWS);
• Good understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL);
• Willingness to learn about automations, RPA, AI and emerging technologies;
• Basic knowledge of Git;
• Basic or introductory experience with Python or Node.js.
• Differentials:
• Previous exposure to SoftExpert Suite or enterprise management tools;
• Familiarity with chatbots, automations and generative AI (such as OpenAI or Claude);
• Knowledge of OCR, NLP or document processing;
• Participation in hackathons, academic projects, research or building MVPs;
• Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC);
• Advanced proficiency in English (or Spanish).
