About the role

• Senior DevOps Engineer enhancing AWS infrastructure for IT consulting company across Europe. Supporting teams in delivering innovative digital solutions with a strong focus on security and cost optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts and dev/stage/prod environments;
• Build and maintain end-to-end CI/CD with GitHub Actions for reliable deployments;
• Deliver Infrastructure as Code mainly with Terraform;
• Operate compute platforms: ECS/Fargate, Lambda, and EKS (Kubernetes)
• Implement observability: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, Bugsnag (logs, metrics, alerting);
• Drive security, resilience, and cost optimization, and share best practices across the team.

Requirements

• Extensive practical experience with AWS and containerization technologies (ECS/EKS);
• Strong understanding of AWS security practices, including IAM, KMS, network security, and compliance;
• Ability to design high-availability and resilient architectures (auto-scaling, DR, multi-region);
• Solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPC, subnets, routing, Transit Gateway, load balancers, and DNS;
• Proven automation skills with Terraform / CloudFormation / GitHub Actions;
• Strong communication, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing mindset.
