About the role

  • Accounting and Operations Specialist managing financial workflows, inventory, and reports at pediatric practice. Collaborates with leadership and staff to optimize operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate bookkeeping, including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for practice leadership
  • Manage purchasing of office and clinical supplies, ensuring cost-effectiveness and timely procurement
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of therapy materials and equipment
  • Collaborate with therapists and administrative staff to anticipate operational needs
  • Assist with budget development and expense tracking
  • Support compliance with relevant financial and privacy regulations

Requirements

  • Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance (preferably in a healthcare or therapy setting)
  • Strong skills in financial software (Excel, or similar)
  • Advanced skills and knowledge in QuickBooks (QBO)
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • High ethical standards and respect for confidentiality
