About the role

Responsibilities
- Help build and maintain high-quality solutions that support the Alternate Investment business
- Responsible for developing secure, scalable systems and ensuring operational stability in the cloud
- Design, build, and support solutions for Alternate Investments
- Collaborate with a diverse group that follows Agile principles to deliver impactful technology
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 10+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle PL/SQL developer
- Strong RDBMS skills including: SQL querying, Stored procedures, Triggers, functions, views, User and object privileges
- Proven experience in performance tuning of stored procedures and queries
- Familiarity with ETL processes and tools such as SQL Loader
- Experience in Linux/Unix environments and basic command-line usage
- Agile methodology experience and team collaboration
- Knowledge of: Core Java and Python (nice to have), Scheduling tools like Control-M (nice to have)
- Experience in database modeling and design
- AWS Cloud experience and familiarity with services like Amazon RDS (preferred)
- Strong data analysis and coding skills, especially in the financial industry
- Understanding of financial industry terminology and workflows
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams
- Strong communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude and a focus on delivering end-to-end solutions.
