About the role

  • Lead Analyst onboarding Alternative Instruments at Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations. Collaborating with stakeholders to meet the needs of Alternative fund structures and markets.

Responsibilities

  • As a Lead Analyst supporting the onboarding of Alternative Instruments in Fidelity Fund and Investment Operations (FFIO)
  • Serve as a vital conduit between the delivery teams and stakeholders
  • Work with various internal teams to ensure efficient functioning of Alternative fund structures
  • Influence systems and architecture solution design based on complex requirements
  • Lead initiatives with diverse scope and complexity
  • Collaborate with business partners to assess complex business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions
  • Support delivery team’s dedication to quality by crafting and implementing tests that address business needs

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or Management Information Systems
  • A minimum of five years of related experience in Financial Services with demonstrated understanding of investment instruments and financial markets
  • Experience with asset management back-office operations, mutual fund accounting, multi-layered fund structures as well as working knowledge of derivatives
  • Must be able to analyze complex and ambiguous issues, recommending creative solutions with clear and concise presentations
  • Proven expertise in various business analysis methodologies and techniques, including data analysis, use case development, story writing, user acceptance testing, and product documentation
  • Affinity for data; where to get it, how to use it, what it means
  • Ability to translate business requirements into well-defined key performance indicators
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; Communicates clearly, concisely and impactfully to influence others
  • Ability to navigate through ambiguous circumstances and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to keep pace
  • A growth mentality with a passion for continuous learning and development
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills especially in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
