About the role

Senior Product Designer at Smartsheet leading design for enterprise SaaS platform. Responsible for creating intuitive user experiences and championing design excellence in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Define and drive the design experience for key areas of the enterprise platform. This involves translating business goals and user needs into innovative, elegant solutions.
Lead the design lifecycle for major initiatives. This includes creating high-level frameworks and conceptual prototypes as well as delivering detailed specifications and final UI.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to identify opportunities, define requirements, and deliver features that provide clear business value and a superior user experience.
Contribute to the evolution of the company's design system. This involves ensuring that mobile patterns and components are scalable, consistent, and easy to use across the platform.
Champion a customer-centric mindset, using data and user feedback to inform design decisions and continuously iterate on the product.
Operate with a high degree of autonomy, taking ownership of projects and driving them from concept to launch with minimal supervision.
Maintain the highest standards for design quality, encompassing visual design, interaction design, and systems thinking.
Advocate for inclusive design practices, such as accessibility and localization, ensuring they are core to the design system.

6+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing work on complex B2B or enterprise products
Deep expertise in the end-to-end user-centered design process, from discovery and research to wireframing, prototyping, and testing.
A strong understanding of design principles and practices, combined with knowledge of technology frameworks.
Proven ability to drive design strategy and vision for large-scale product initiatives, aligning stakeholders across product management, engineering, and business teams.
A strong understanding of design systems and a track record of either contributing to or leveraging them to ensure consistency and accelerate design velocity.
Great communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions, influence product direction, and present complex ideas to a diverse audience.
Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in an Agile environment, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products efficiently.
Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality.
Legally eligible to work in India on an ongoing basis
Fluency in English is required.
Bonus Points:
Experience with enterprise-grade collaboration and work management platforms.
Some experience with content design, accessibility, or localization.
