About the role
- Business Analyst/Data Analyst supporting the finance team with analyses and reporting while enhancing data tools. Preparing monthly reporting and optimizing financial processes in the FP&A team.
Responsibilities
- Support to the Finance / Management Control function
- Assist management controllers with recurring and ad hoc financial analyses
- Respond to analytical needs (commercial performance, margins, volumes, profitability, etc.)
- Propose relevant KPIs, analyses and areas for improvement
- Produce and maintain monthly reporting (standard and ad hoc)
- Ensure the reliability, consistency and clarity of financial data
- Contribute to the development of existing reports in line with business needs
- Oversee and integrate the monthly reporting of the Group's stand-alone subsidiaries, ensuring its accuracy
- Track, consolidate and integrate Group headcount data into the controlling database
- Automate reports and analyses (Excel, VBA, Power BI)
- Design, maintain and optimize data models in Power BI
- Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation
- Improve existing processes to increase efficiency and reliability
- Build financial and analytical models to monitor performance
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis exercises
Requirements
- Graduate from a business school or engineering school (Master’s level, Bac+5), in France or internationally
- Experienced profile with a minimum of 5 years' experience
- Excellent Excel skills (advanced functions, modeling) and strong proficiency in VBA and Excel automation
- Good knowledge of SQL is a plus
- Familiarity with Power BI is a plus (data modeling, DAX, reporting)
- Good understanding of data and financial environments
- Solid understanding of FP&A / management control issues
- Ability to translate business needs into concrete analytical solutions
- Professional English required (written and spoken)
