About the role

• Project Engineer Coordinator guiding commissioning on low-carbon infrastructure project at Hinkley Point C. Ensure safety and quality while collaborating with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Guide multiple DMIC (Design, Manufacture, Installation & Commissioning) Teams through the full commissioning lifecycle
• Ensure every stage meets the standards expected on a first‑of‑a‑kind nuclear build
• Align contractor commissioning arrangements with NNB expectations
• Oversee the completion of all DMIC commissioning prerequisites
• Ensure the NNB Commissioning Team is fully prepared to carry out effective surveillance
• Build strong working relationships with contractors, project managers, quality leads, site engineering teams, and plant operations
• Act as the key interface for commissioning, defining and managing interactions across all stakeholders
• Create and maintain DMIC Commissioning trackers to track deliverables, evidence, and schedule adherence
• Serve as the primary liaison between the Commissioning Delivery Team and Project Managers to enable clear communication and efficient engagement
• Provide a consistent point of contact for all DMIC contract matters

Requirements

• Experience in commissioning power plants or coordinating multiple contractors in complex project environments
• A strong commitment to safety, quality assurance and quality control standards
• Commercial and contract awareness to navigate DMIC contract requirements
• Proven success working within multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects effectively
• Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple scopes and maintain clear oversights
• The ability to communicate technical information simply and effectively to diverse stakeholders
• Familiarity with regulatory environments and industry compliance expectations, including CDM knowledge
• Hands-on project management experience within nuclear or other highly regulated industries
