About the role
- Software Developer developing software for Simucube's industry-leading simulation products. Collaborate on various technologies to create immersive simulation experiences in Tampere, Finland.
Responsibilities
- Develop software for industry-leading Simucube products such as wheelbases and ActivePedal
- Work across a wide range of technologies, from ARM microcontrollers to Windows Qt/QML software
- Use modern C++ at the core of development
- Get involved with control systems or UI for the first electronically controlled force feedback pedal in the world
- Embrace new ways of working, including AI-powered tools in development processes
- Collaborate with a team of around 15 people, taking initiative and driving things forward together
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software development
- Technical expertise in modern C++ and understanding of software development processes
- Understanding of and interest in electronics, including knowledge of using tools such as oscilloscopes is an advantage
- Experience with ARM controllers or Qt/QML is a big plus
- Excellent communication skills in English; other language skills are seen as a plus
- Proactive problem-solving approach, with the ability to identify and act on both challenges and opportunities
