About the role

  • Editorial Designer creating engaging print layouts for SiGMA Magazine and event editorial publications. Collaborating with teams to ensure brand consistency while managing multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Design and layout pages for SiGMA Magazine, event guides, and editorial print publications
  • Support projects from initial layout through to final print delivery
  • Collaborate with editorial, marketing, and events teams to develop clear and engaging layouts
  • Prepare print-ready files, ensuring correct specs, colour profiles, and pre-press requirements
  • Liaise with printers and production vendors to support smooth delivery of printed materials
  • Apply and maintain editorial design systems across typography, grids, and layouts
  • Review proofs, implement revisions, and support final sign-off processes
  • Ensure all work aligns with SiGMA brand guidelines and editorial standards
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Stay up to date with editorial design trends and print best practices

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in editorial design, graphic design, or a similar role
  • Demonstrated experience working on magazines, event guides, or print publications
  • Solid understanding of print production and pre-press processes
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Strong eye for layout, typography, and detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and take feedback on board
  • Good organisational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Experience working with printers or external vendors is an advantage
  • Experience within media, publishing, or events environments is a plus
