About the role
- Junior QA Analyst executing functional and exploratory testing at Grupo Sifra. Supporting test case creation and defect tracking for various applications.
Responsibilities
- Execute functional, manual and exploratory tests on systems and applications.
- Support the creation, review and update of test cases, test scripts and evidence.
- Identify, record and track defects found during testing.
- Assist in validating fixes implemented by the development team.
- Participate in team ceremonies (daily, planning, review and retrospective), when applicable.
- Support the understanding of requirements and business rules with the team.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality and testing processes.
- Support regression testing before new releases to production.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or currently pursuing one.
- Knowledge in executing manual and automated tests (stress, load, performance, structural, regression, usability, etc.) for Desktop, Web and Mobile applications and APIs.
- Knowledge of programming languages applied to testing: SQL and JavaScript.
