Data Scientist responsible for developing and implementing credit recovery statistical models at Sicredi. Collaborative role requiring data analysis and interaction with multiple teams.
Responsibilities
Develop credit recovery models, considering the various customer segments, strategies and products of Sicredi;
Implement, together with the technology team, the models developed by the credit recovery team;
Review, recalculate and calibrate models when appropriate;
Produce studies and propose new initiatives on credit recovery topics, understanding members’ profiles, products and stages of the credit cycle;
Work closely with different product teams, supporting analysis and providing new data-driven insights;
Interact with the various roles in the data process (analysts, engineers, data scientists and business analysts);
Maintain the necessary documentation for your deliverables;
Continuously evolve and expand technical skills.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Accounting and Actuarial Sciences, Engineering, Economics or related areas;
Experience with statistical modeling applied to the credit market;
Strong writing, summarization and communication skills;
Experience with programming languages and tools such as Python, Spark, SQL and SAS;
Hands-on experience in data analysis, monitoring KPIs and conducting ad-hoc studies;
Knowledge and practical experience in the credit market;
Intermediate English is desirable.
