Responsibilities
Define Product Strategy: Define and champion the strategic direction, product vision, and roadmap for your squad, aligning with overall company goals and objectives. Stay attuned to industry trends, competitive dynamics, and emerging technologies that influence our space.
Drive Execution: Lead feature scoping, prioritization, and trade-off discussions — knowing when to say no to achieve the best outcomes. Translate vision into clear product requirements and user stories, managing the backlog to ensure maximum impact and alignment with company goals.
Lead Cross-Functional Teams: lead, inspire, and collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and customer-facing teams to ensure successful launches, adoption, and measurable outcomes. Work with leadership to connect strategic plans to actionable, prioritized initiatives with clear metrics and timelines.
Collaborate Across Squads: Collaborate closely with other squad leads and stakeholders to coordinate efforts, resolve dependencies, and optimize resource allocation.
Champion the Customer: Conduct research, analyze data, and synthesize insights to deeply understand the needs of our diverse customers — from small independent shops to multi-location enterprises. Use these customer insights and data analytics to guide decisions.
Own the Full Lifecycle: Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle — from ideation and validation through launch, iteration, and optimization. Measure success using product metrics such as adoption, engagement, and customer satisfaction, and use these to guide continuous improvement.
Requirements
6+ years of successful product management experience leading complex software products with cross-functional teams
Proven track record of shipping SaaS products from concept to launch in a fast-paced, startup setting
Excellent leadership and collaboration skills to build trust, bridge gaps between teams, and influence without authority
Tenacity and ample leadership experience enabling you to lead, influence and organize complex, core feature projects
Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with experience engaging senior leadership and customers
Data-driven mindset with the ability to balance qualitative insights and quantitative metrics
Familiarity with modern product and project management tools (e.g., Linear, Productboard, Wrike)
Hungry, fast-learner mindset with a bias towards action.
Ability to travel periodically for customer visits, events, and workshops
