About the role
- Sustainable Supply Chain Manager driving sustainability initiatives and reporting at Heathrow with strategic suppliers and internal teams. Focused on supplier performance and the People and Planet Strategy.
Responsibilities
- Support the Sustainable Supply Chain Manager in driving change across Heathrow’s supply chain.
- Champion the People and Planet Strategy.
- Play a key part in post-contract management and annual sustainability reporting.
- Work closely with strategic suppliers and internal teams to ensure alignment with Heathrow’s sustainability objectives.
- Develop supplier performance roadmaps, and assure data quality.
- Educate both procurement colleagues and partners on sustainable supply chain principles.
- Foster continuous improvement and make a tangible impact on Heathrow’s sustainable business ambitions.
Requirements
- Demonstrable understanding of the supply chain/procurement process gained through working in a similar role
- Evidence of having worked within sustainability programmes for major client organisations
- Experience in an operational environment alongside demonstrable knowledge of the business change process
- Adept at working on programmes leading business inclusivity
- Experience of engagement projects across multiple businesses and stakeholders
- Previously worked in an integrated team involving supplier business partnering across finance, sustainability, IT and infrastructure
