DevOps Engineer responsible for web application operations and developer experience at Nitrado, a global game server hosting provider. Collaborating with developers on automation, Kubernetes, and Docker management.
Responsibilities
You work alongside backend and frontend developers and are responsible for operating our web applications.
You help automate our processes and optimize configuration management using CI/CD pipelines.
You use Kubernetes as a service and configure deployments using Docker containers and Helm charts.
You ensure visibility and observability of our applications.
You help the team create a positive developer experience — both during development and by providing effective debugging tools.
You integrate new features into our backends and extend the functionality of existing products.
Requirements
You have a degree in IT or a vocational IT qualification with relevant professional experience.
You have solid knowledge of Linux.
You are experienced with Kubernetes and Docker.
Ideally, you have a good command of programming languages such as Ruby, Go, Bash, or PHP.
You are familiar with common databases (MariaDB, MySQL, ClickHouse).
You have a strong interest in and enjoyment of working with new technologies and complex solutions.
You are fluent in German (written and spoken).
You consider yourself a reliable team player with a strong focus on collective success.
