Responsibilities
Own the long-term strategy and roadmap for all internal systems, ensuring alignment with the company's business objectives and growth plans.
Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and best practices for the use, maintenance, and security of all internal systems.
Own the evaluation, recommendation, and selection rights over the specific software applications, platforms, and tools that comprise the company's internal systems technology stack.
Lead the IT team, holding ownership of ICT, and exercising authority over the hiring, performance management, and career development of the team.
Author and manage the budget for all internal systems and manage vendor relationships, including contract negotiation and ensuring service level agreement (SLA) adherence for cost-effectiveness.
Collaborate with department leads (e.g., PPC, Finance) to identify inefficiencies and leverage internal systems to streamline workflows.
Partner with Data team members and governance committees to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across all internal systems.
Collaborate with Legal, Privacy, and Risk teams to ensure internal systems and their usage comply with relevant regulations and policies (e.g., AI acceptable use, GDPR).
Defining and maintaining a clear, long-term strategy and roadmap for internal systems.
Ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of all internal systems.
Managing relationships with internal systems vendors and contract negotiations.
Requirements
Deep knowledge of architectural design, configuration, and integration of internal systems.
Understanding of implementation of security policies, data collection, and access control restrictions (in collaboration with CISO).
Experience with financial performance and operational optimisation of security initiatives (in collaboration with FP&A Business Partner).
Familiarity with compliance frameworks related to Legal, Risk, and Privacy (e.g., GDPR).
