About the role
- Cost & Financial Planning Analyst responsible for financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting in a global technology company. Collaborating with leadership to analyze financial data and drive process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
- Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
- Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
- Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
- Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools.
- Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
Requirements
- A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands.
- Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation.
- Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results.
- Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
- Power BI data analysis and Dashboarding: Power BI experience in a financial environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build end-to-end reporting solutions, from data extraction to stakeholder presentation.
- Experience using AI or machine learning tools to support financial analysis, forecasting, or performance reporting and improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight through automation or predictive analytics.
