Responsibilities
Conduct deep keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, or Ahrefs
Manage metadata, header structures, internal linking, and image optimization across the site
Monitor site(s) health, identify crawl errors, and audit page speed and mobile-friendliness in collaboration with developers
Track performance using Google Search Console, Google Analytics (GA4), and Microsoft Clarity to turn data into actionable insights
Review and edit web content for readability, keyword density, and SEO best practices
Use UX principles to suggest layout changes that improve SEO-driven page conversions
Create wireframes and mockups in Figma or Adobe Creative Cloud to visualize SEO recommendations
Ensure all SEO-driven content follows WCAG standards and displays perfectly across all devices
Assist in identifying where search users drop off and propose UI improvements to increase dwell time and engagement
Requirements
2+ years of experience in SEO, Content Marketing, or Digital Design (internships or personal portfolios included)
Strong understanding of keyword research, on-page optimization, and how search engines crawl/index sites
Proficiency in Figma or Adobe XD and a good eye for clean, modern UI
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and how design decisions impact Core Web Vitals
Comfortable working with data and spreadsheets to track SEO progress
Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to explain technical SEO concepts to non-experts
