Responsibilities
- Deliver test automation within agile teams; ensure code quality, reusability, and maintainability through reviews, standards, and best practices.
- Create and maintain Xray test cases to verify and validate requirements.
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot to accelerate test case creation, script development, and test data generation.
- Validate AI-generated artifacts for accuracy and business alignment.
- Promote practices that advance Continuous Delivery and Continuous Improvement.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to shift quality efforts lower in the test pyramid.
- Provide metrics to establish baselines and track quality and efficiency improvements.
- Lead efforts to define and articulate testing strategy for the project.
- Coach and provide technical leadership to peer QE team members.
Requirements
- Experience with QE languages, frameworks, and tools: TypeScript or JavaScript, Python, JSON; Vitest, GitHub/GitHub Actions, Jira/Xray.
- Advanced SQL experience for research and analysis.
- Ability to translate business requirements into test strategy, test cases, and Agile task estimates.
- Experience developing and executing manual and automated test scripts.
- Strong collaboration skills with a one-team mindset.
- Strong communication skills: understanding requirements, articulating test approach, willingness to ask questions.
- Experience coaching teams on quality concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective time management and prioritization.
