Finance Developer managing product accounting and reporting in SEB Baltic systems. Collaborating in an Agile team to ensure auditable financial postings in the General Ledger.
Responsibilities
Work across teams to enable product launches: collaborate with stakeholders and other delivery teams so that new products can be introduced with correct accounting and reporting outcomes.
Define product accounting rules: translate product lifecycle events into accounting events and posting logic (what gets posted, when, and how).
Define data requirements into GL: specify and validate what data must arrive from source systems into the GL (structure, content, quality, reconciliation points).
Develop and evolve GL foundations in SEB Baltics: contribute to GL related solutions and improvements, including stability, quality, and maintainability.
Support and operate what we build: participate in incident impact assessment, root cause analysis, emergency change testing, and continuous improvements to reduce future maintenance load.
Analyse, design, and validate solutions: turn stakeholder user stories into detailed requirements and solution designs; participate in testing and validation within the delivery team.
Work in an Agile way: pull prioritized work from the backlog, contribute to sprint goals, and continuously improve how we deliver value.
Requirements
Background in finance, accounting, risk, or reporting
Experience working with financial systems, data, or reporting solutions
Experience with General Ledger, internal accounting, or regulatory reporting
Experience in banking or financial services
Good analytical skills and ability to understand complex processes and data flows
Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams
Ability to communicate clearly with both business and IT stakeholders
