About the role

  • Senior IT Service Manager responsible for shaping and maturing IT service portfolio at Social Security Scotland. Leading ITIL service management practices across multiple channels and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for service management across platforms, multiple channels and services
  • Lead and develop a team of experts to deliver service improvements
  • Be responsible for overall governance of the management of IT Service Design
  • Promote, implement and manage ITIL best practices
  • Use data analytics skills to enhance business performance
  • Build long-term strategic relationships

Requirements

  • Experience of leading an IT service delivery function using the practical application of ITIL, or other relevant ITSM Framework
  • Ability to schedule and plan priorities for a large group of technical specialists
  • Strong demonstrable project management experience
  • Practitioner level knowledge of Agile or Prince 2
  • Commitment to continual service improvement
