Responsibilities
You are responsible for project procurement with a focus on mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and construction
You are fully and independently responsible for the entire procurement process — from aligning the scope of services with project management, to supplier selection and evaluation, conducting tenders and leading procurement negotiations, preparing award recommendations, commercially supporting the project, and assisting with defect claims as well as managing warranty follow-ups
Careful and precise work in contract management is expected
Requirements
Must-have: A completed degree in business administration or a comparable qualification with a focus on Purchasing or Supply Chain, or equivalent professional expertise acquired otherwise
Persuasive and communicative personality with a high degree of initiative, teamwork and service orientation
Nice-to-have: Several years of relevant professional experience and in-depth expertise in project procurement
Deep technical understanding of engineering contexts
Extensive knowledge of SAP HCM or, ideally, S/4HANA
Thorough knowledge of contract law and contract drafting
Experience in project management
