About the role

IT Solutions Architect coordinating PIM system operation and eCommerce solutions for Schaeffler globally. Leading IT projects and collaborating with internal and external partners on requirements and specifications.

Responsibilities

Acting as the primary IT contact for internal stakeholders and external service providers regarding the operation and maintenance of the PIM system.
Leading and coordinating IT projects related to PIM and eCommerce from initiation to successful delivery, including planning, resource management, controlling and reporting.
Drive effective communication and collaboration between business units, internal IT teams, and external partners.
Collaborate with business experts to gather, define, and refine requirements; translate them into detailed technical specifications.
Planning, monitoring and documenting of IT solutions and features throughout their entire lifecycle, utilizing tools such as Jira and Confluence, including testing and approval phases.
Implementing IT solution designs in accordance with architectural standards, working closely with developers and external vendors.
Ensuring integration of security principles from the outset, following the Security by Design approach in all processes and system changes.
Support project initiation by conducting feasibility studies, preparing proposals, and managing approval workflows.
Tracking project progress and risks, coordinate critical phases such as cut-over and testing, and perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field, or comparable qualifications with corresponding practical experience.
A proven experience of at least 3 years in Project Management, ideally in the field of Product Information Systems and/or E-Commerce platforms.
Advanced knowledge of JSON, XML and CSV data formats.
Strong understanding of common web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
At least basic understanding of SOAP and REST API integration.
Familiarity with Database administration and management.
Proficiency in Windows Server management.
At least basic knowledge of SAP R/3 and S/4 systems.
Experience with SAP Material Management modules is a plus.
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Polish (min. B2).
Intermediate proficiency in the German language (min. A2).
Open to international business travels, which will take place at various frequencies, depending on the period and client needs (from 20% to 50% of the time).
