Responsibilities
- serve as a software developer in a small team, working closely with the hardware designers
- collaborate with hardware and power electronics engineers to ensure integrated system solutions
- develop advanced algorithms to ensure optimal product performance
- plan and execute according to timelines and project plans
- work hands on with prototypes and support testing and validation activities
- contribute to the strategic development of our products, with a focus on short and long-term innovation and sustainability
- ensure compliance with standards and Scania’s PD process for software development
- represent our group in internal and external forums
Requirements
- several years of experience in product development
- broad technical perspective gained from working across different R&D domains
- relevant university degree in computer engineering, mechatronics, or similar
- 5+ years of experience from software development within C/C++
- experience with building embedded applications for bare metal MCUs and/or RTOS
- experience working with embedded Linux applications and networking
- practical experience with back-end frameworks and cyber security is a plus
