About the role

  • Software Engineer developing innovative banking solutions at Porto Seguro Bank, focusing on accounts and core banking, collaborating in a hybrid environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy high-quality applications, ensuring efficiency and scalability by applying microservices principles and agile development practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and translate requirements into effective technical solutions. Implement and maintain best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
  • Work with container-based architectures and microservices orchestration.

Requirements

  • Experience developing applications for the financial market and payment systems.
  • Experience developing applications using microservices architectures.
  • Specific experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS Cloud, including services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Serverless Framework, API Gateway, and others.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and software engineering best practices.
  • Architectural pattern: REST / RESTful.
  • Concepts of API-First, OpenAPI Specification (Swagger), API Gateway, and integration architecture.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java (Spring Boot), Python, and Node.js, among others.
  • Experience with container orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, GKE, AKS).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD practices (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery). Experience with GitLab, Jenkins, and SonarQube.
  • Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle would be a plus), RDS, and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
  • Contribute to solution design by validating data models, specifying interfaces, and updating the solution architecture.
  • Support the definition and execution of the testing strategy, prepare required documentation, and configure test environments.
  • Consolidate system documentation and transfer knowledge to support/maintenance teams.
