About the role

  • UX Designer delivering high-quality user experience for life science industry. Collaborating with development teams and influencing design coherence across products and services.

Responsibilities

  • Shape end-to-end experience coherence across multiple products, workflows, and stakeholder groups
  • Map and maintain customer journeys, service blueprints, and cross-product experience narratives
  • Identify gaps, overlaps, and inconsistencies across journeys and drive alignment across teams
  • Provide design reviews, guidance, and decision support to Product Designers and UI / Interaction Designers
  • Establish and evolve design governance, including principles, patterns, quality criteria and ways of working
  • Strengthen research rigor: when decisions become too local or assumption-driven, bring teams back to insight
  • Facilitate workshops and alignment sessions with Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, and other stakeholders
  • Support teams in defining experience outcomes and measurable UX success criteria
  • Liaise with Corporate Brand & Design and the design system Elements to ensure shared experience direction, standards, and increased UX maturity
  • Promote accessibility best practices across the design process (for example WCAG-aligned criteria), supporting teams to build inclusive experiences from early concept through implementation

Requirements

  • Relevant academic degree (for example HCI, Interaction Design, Cognitive Science, Computer Science) or equivalent experience
  • Several years of experience in UX, service design, product design, or experience design in complex domains
  • Strong track record of end-to-end journey work across products and services, not only within a single UI
  • Solid experience planning and leading user research (discovery and evaluative), including synthesis and insight communication
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Architecture) and supporting decision-making at scale
  • Strong documentation and facilitation skills (journey maps, service blueprints, experience principles, quality criteria)
  • Experience working in agile environments with diversified team structures
  • Experience from regulated or high-complexity domains (life science, biotech, medtech, industrial software, data-heavy products)
  • Experience with design systems governance and cross-team pattern evolution
  • Familiarity with analytics, data visualization and decision-support UX
  • Experience with tools such as Figma (or equivalent), Miro and Azure DevOps
