About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of client engagements, managing client relationships and providing day-to-day account leadership.
  • Lead proactive new business development activities and grow service area offerings.
  • Manage direct reports and lead and direct project teams to provide insightful and impactful solutions to complex client needs, leveraging innovative and analytical approaches, established methodologies, and critical thinking skills.
  • Direct and guide the work of team members in internal and client-facing work, offering expertise to drive high quality outputs and work products.
  • Lead and participate in the delivery of client deliverables and work products – including reports, presentations, and facilitated engagement sessions.
  • Oversee staff and associates, provide continuous performance feedback and mentorship, and help develop the team through thoughtful performance management.
  • Develop, maintain and strengthen client relationships through the delivery of excellent service and unwavering focus on quality.
  • Keep abreast of current healthcare and government trends and issues directly relevant to the business of current and potential clients.
  • Demonstrate technical and professional knowledge of the healthcare industry.
  • Participate in the development of healthcare thought leadership.
  • Review work performed by staff and associates, participate in performance reviews, and contribute to on-the-job feedback/training.
  • Foster an innovative, inclusive, and team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, health administration, public policy or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Previous Management Consulting experience is mandatory.
  • Minimum 6+ years relevant experience.
  • Relevant post-graduate certifications / training (e.g., PMP) would be beneficial.
  • Working experience in health strategy and/or health policy is preferred.
  • Previous people management experience is preferred.
  • Exceptional account and people management experience and capabilities, with an ability to balance competing client priorities simultaneously.
  • Skilled in priority-setting, efficient time-management, and the ability to work well within teams and independently.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
