About the role

  • Lead the US Medical Immunology team focused on innovative therapeutic solutions. Drive medical strategies in Dermatology and Rheumatology to improve patient lives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Dermatology/Rheumatology, US Medical Immunology team
  • Coach, train and manage disease area directors’ team performance
  • Provide leadership to the team by cultivating a culture of teamwork
  • Develop an Integrated Medical Plan and annual budget
  • Communicate details and progress of the Medical Plan to Senior Management
  • Support the generation and communication of scientific medical insights
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to manage high-level regional stakeholder relationships
  • Analyze data to optimize resources for MSL field force planning
  • Develop recruiting plans and manage medical talent

Requirements

  • Advanced degree required (PhD, Pharm.D., or equivalent)
  • A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in Medical Affairs leadership
  • Clinical or Medical Affairs experience in Dermatology, Rheumatology or other relevant Immunology therapy area
  • Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and local regulatory process
  • High degree of knowledge of relevant healthcare systems
  • Ability to effectively participate in multi-disciplinary teams
  • Proven ability to utilize project management strategies
  • Demonstrated record of people-development
  • Proven record of successful change management
