Responsibilities
- Lead the Dermatology/Rheumatology, US Medical Immunology team
- Coach, train and manage disease area directors’ team performance
- Provide leadership to the team by cultivating a culture of teamwork
- Develop an Integrated Medical Plan and annual budget
- Communicate details and progress of the Medical Plan to Senior Management
- Support the generation and communication of scientific medical insights
- Partner with internal stakeholders to manage high-level regional stakeholder relationships
- Analyze data to optimize resources for MSL field force planning
- Develop recruiting plans and manage medical talent
Requirements
- Advanced degree required (PhD, Pharm.D., or equivalent)
- A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in Medical Affairs leadership
- Clinical or Medical Affairs experience in Dermatology, Rheumatology or other relevant Immunology therapy area
- Knowledge of pharmacovigilance and local regulatory process
- High degree of knowledge of relevant healthcare systems
- Ability to effectively participate in multi-disciplinary teams
- Proven ability to utilize project management strategies
- Demonstrated record of people-development
