About the role
- Manager overseeing Financial Due Diligence projects for an expanding M&A firm specializing in corporate finance. Responsible for client relations and reporting, team collaboration, and strategic development.
Responsibilities
- Independent execution and leadership of financial due diligence projects in the context of company acquisitions and divestitures (buy- and sell-side)
- Lead vendor assistance projects, model business plans and support project management by acting as an interface between clients, internal teams (e.g., M&A) and external stakeholders
- Responsible reporting to clients and internal decision-makers
- Contribute to the development and implementation of transaction strategies
- Build and maintain sustainable client relationships through continuous communication and advisory services
Requirements
- Degree in economics, business administration or a related field (Bachelor/Master), ideally with a focus on finance
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in Transaction Services/Financial Due Diligence
- Solid knowledge of the transaction environment including balance sheet analysis and financial modelling
- Excellent proficiency with common analysis tools (e.g., MS Excel)
- Strong client orientation, excellent communication skills and team spirit
- Independent, structured and results-oriented working style
- Business-fluent German and English
