About the role

  • GPU RTL Design Engineer focused on driving RTL design for mobile market GPUs. Collaborate on architecture and implementation in high-performance computing devices at Samsung.

Responsibilities

  • work as part of a GPU IP Design (Texture) team
  • drive the RTL design of various sub-blocks for a GPU targeted to mobile market
  • engage with other architects within the IP and at the SoC level to drive the architectural definition
  • partner with the physical design team to resolve implementation level details
  • work closely with design verification to test plan and ensure proper functionality
  • collaborate with engineers in other geographies on requirements and implementation
  • deliver quality micro-architectural level documentation
  • produce quality RTL on schedule meeting PPA goals

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/relevant technical field, or a Master’s degree
  • Experience driving the RTL design of various digital sub-blocks of GPU /CPU high performance digital designs
  • Demonstrated experience of successful Architectural through RTL design experience on high performance digital designs
  • Computer graphics and computer architecture background
  • Low Power Design experience is a plus
